The Meals on Wheels program consists of a hot meal, delivered to the door of those signed up for the program between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To be eligible to receive meals, recipients must be 60 or older and home bound, meaning they spend most of their time at home or are unable to prepare healthy, consistent meals in their homes for medical or social reasons.
Gloria Dei has been involved in Meals on Wheels for over 35 years! Gloria Dei volunteers deliver to those on Route #8 on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. We are looking for additional volunteers to help deliver meals.
