SGG - Liturgy of the Ordinary

Thursdays Oct 14-Nov 11, 12:15-1pm | Are the ordinary, routine parts of our lives really ‘secular’? Are they really disconnected from the real sacred work of worship and prayer?

Is the sanctuary more important to God than the workplace or home? Are those ordained to work in the sanctuary somehow closer to God than those who work in the store or office?

These are the questions we will ask as we walk through the ordinary tasks of a day with author Trish Harrison Warren in her book Liturgy of the Ordinary. Our hope is that we will learn to see how even the most mundane parts of lives can become “sacred practices” - opportunities for a deeper connection with God.
